7 April 2020: Rememba ... Simba ... Rememba ...

Hello everyone!

This week had its ups and downs, the biggest highlight was definitely watching General Conference, and I learned a lot. I invite all of you, if you want to hear some inspirational talks, regardless of you religious beliefs, to watch General Conference. You can find it at
It is the opportunity we get to hear from living prophets, or men chosen by God to represent Him to the world and give His word to us, just like anciently in the Bible. My favorite part was watching President Nelson get emotional when he told the world that there would be a temple of the Lord built in Shanghai, China. He did a lot of surgical and ministering work there in the past and he loves those people a lot. That was touching. I was also pumped to hear about the temple that is going to be built in Pittsburgh! PA! Boo yeah!
My other favorite part was a talk given by Elder Neil L Anderson of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles, who talked about remembering our spiritual experiences, and always remembering them. That seemed to be the theme of my week: not only remembering who I am, and who all of you are: literal children of an all loving Heavenly Father, but remembering the wonderful, indescribable experiences I have had that have brought me closer to Him and His Son Jesus Christ. I have started doing this thing called "My Plan" which is to help me prepare to come home hitting the ground running. The first thing that it had me do, was write down the things I have learned, the eternal truths that I now know because of my dedicated service. I could hardly get through it without getting choked up. I wasn't expecting that to happen. Hence, the title of my email this week is "remember" because I don't think we do enough of it. I definitely haven't been, but when I do, I am filled with a joy and happiness that I can't describe.
Pics:

-Making some improve healthy food. I call it "Elder Lovell and Elder Gonzalez' makeshift General Conference stir fry" not bad!
-we finished a Las Vegas puzzle this week in our limited free time. Now we are working on a San Antonio puzzle. Do you think we can find a Myerstown puzzle?
- us watching General Conference in our apartment on our phone. We both had a contest of who could drink the most water. We both downed over two gallons of water in two days, ha ha.
-us going shopping today with our masks. Our mission president and companion have asked us to start wearing masks when we go out just to respect the wishes of others.
