11 June 2019: Country Roads ... Take Me Home ... Sunrise Manor!

Its been a crazy week. A lot of blessings have happened this week. However, transfers have come. And very unexpectedly, I am leaving beloved Sandhill, and the Paradise/East Zone. It was a short ride, but a very very good one. Since I have been here, since the end of March, I have taught and seen 6 people make a covenant with their Father in Heaven through baptism. Each one of them, and many more people in this area have greatly impacted me, and also the missionaries I have served with while being the Paradise/East zone leader.
I am actually going back to my home zone, Sunrise Manor! I will be the zone leader there, and will be serving in the Northwestern most part of our mission, in an area called Laurel Canyon/Mountain Shadows. My new companion is going to be Elder Dominguez, and I am excited to work with him. Two of the district leaders (missionaries over a smaller group of missionaries) are my former companions! Elder Troya and Elder Dougal! I am so stoked to work with them again!
I really don't have any time today, but I just want to share a little thing about meekness. The other day I studied about being meek and lowly of heart. I underratand meekness as power under restraint. When we are meek, we realize how we can do better, and realize that we have the ability to do great things, but we realize that the only way we can do them is through Christ and His Atonement for us. It has been a wonderful time here in Sandhill, and I look forward to my time in the Sunrise Manor Zone serving as a zone leader.
Have a great week!

Elder Olsen is finishing his mission next transfer, but he is staying in his area, so it was the last time I would see him. He was the Assistant to the President for the majority of my mission thus far.
Elder Loutensock and I with Elder Picinich (the bald one) and Elder McKee today at Raisin' Canes chicken. We dropped them off at the temple, because they finish their missions tomorrow
