22 Nov 2018: Welcome to Transylvania!

Hello everyone!
¡Feliz Día de Acción de Gracias!

I'm getting transferred to Transylvania!

Just kidding. We did meet this crazy transylvanian woman who hated America and when we asked her about how long she had been in the US, "Too long!" I love talking to interesting people.

Oh yeah, sorry about not emailing on Tuesday, Happy Pdaysgiving!

We also saw the rock lady twice this past week. She stared us down the first time, and we backed away slowly.
*Cue the western showdown music*
She was the same lady that almost stoned us a couple weeks back. We didn't want to repeat the experience.

We had interviews with President Youngblood yesterday. That was cool. He is quickly becoming a father figure to me.

We had a cool experience on Saturday. We were teaching Jesus Galindo, and we were thinking about dropping teaching him, because he wasn't progressing. But when we got into the lesson with him, we both got the impression that we could not drop him, because he is so ready. He is talking to his friends and family about us, and just needs a little extra time. So we are going to be patient with him. We fasted for him yesterday. I'm confident that with the Lord's help, he will be able to make that leap of faith.

Spiritual thought of the week:
Recently I have had some not so fun time with people I have taught in the past not keeping their commitments or covenants even (covenants are promises you make with Heavenly Father, through certain ordinances), and I wonder "what happened?" Why are they not feeling the Spirit?

Friends and Family, the world is crazy. We can't survive spiritually without being converted to Jesus Christ. Conversion is a life long process, but we need to be making active efforts to become who He wants us to be. This can only happen by doing what He asks of us. I invite you to get closer to Him by reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible together everyday talking with your Father in Heaven everyday, and making them habits. I promise that as you do this, you will come closer to Him, than you possibly can ever imagine. Its incredible.

Lovell you all!
